”The first room I was placed in smelled like death and despair and was put in another room that looked like more people spent time trying to break out of than break in. The bed was like laying on a gravel parking lot. ”

”Very clean room. Breakfast was fresh and all the staff were very professional and efficient.”

”Under significant renovation, pool closed and construction dust and debris all over the breakfast area, unhealthy and unsanitary. We paid extra for the pool which has obviously been closed for a while. We also picked a hotel that offered breakfast which we couldn’t risk eating. Man at the front desk could care less and told us if we had any problems with the pool closed to call Expedia. This hotel should not be offered on Expedia.”

”Second time staying at this hotel while traveling from Canada to Georgia and would stay here again on our next trip down south. Seamless check-in, comfortable bed, clean room and convenient location off I-81. Basic but adequate breakfast fare for a quick bite before hitting the road.”

”Hotel was clean , staff was very friendly and located in a good area. Only negative is the TV which has a channel guide on Channel 1 but none of the 1 or 2 digit numbers on that match the 3 digit numbers or even come close so you have to scroll channel by channel to find something you like which is why I only gave 3 stars for amenities, ”

”Very cute cabin. Just what we needed for our annual trip to drive to mtns to pick out and purchase a Christmas tree from a choose and cut tree farm, plus get some xmas shopping done in West Jefferson NC and drove to the town of Sparta and also drove through stone mtn state park to see Widow falls and seen some deer also. it was a bit cold so we did not use the grill but the grill was actually cleaner than most other cabins we have been in but could use new burner covers and grease from bottom...

”Cabin was cozy and warm with the nice propane heater. Firepit and grill were great, creek was really nice. Wifi went out a couple times, shower was great, but a bit clunky to use.”

”The owners are awesome. We had a great stay in a beautiful place. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us.”
