Mökki sijaitsee Keweenaw historiallinen kansallispuisto. Se voi nukkua jopa 6 henkilöä mukavasti, se on 2 makuuhuonetta queen vuodetta, ja kaksi täysikokoista futon muissa huoneissa. Overall impression was good. Home is clean, landlord lives next door so communication was great. The home is filled with art and antiques that add some really great 'intangibles'. I would have rated this stay a 5 star if not for a couple of issues. The big one was showing a washer and dryer availability on the amenities page. Landlord said she's working on getting that off the main amenities page but it really did make a big difference with us because we packed very light expecting to do a wash day at the property. We stayed busy hiking and exploring the area and didn't account for time to go to a laundromat. It was necessary for us. The other issue I had was an upcharge for a fourth person. The property lists it sleeps 6. I booked the trip expecting 3 of us to go but a fourth was available and joined us. I've never been asked to pay additionally for a person before. It wasn't a big deal but it should be stated in the main information page that additional people will absolutely incur an upcharge. So other than the listing being absent of some crucial information, the whole stay was great and the host was helpful. Even though they live next door it was like they were just another homeowner. They respected our privacy. One thing to add is we are chicken people and liked having the chickens greet us at the porch when we arrived during daylight hours. If you don't like chickens or are afraid of them, you may want to let the host know ahead of time.

This was our first stay in a rental house, and we loved it! Very cute property, hosts had put a lot of personal touch into the decorations and furniture. Hosts live right next door and were easy to contact. They provided local suggestions, and we got to see the chickens! We were mostly using the place to crash between adventures, so we didn't take advantage of all the amenities, but what you see in the pictures is what you get (We forgot to take pics of our own)! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Comfortable House

Comfortable house. Even with continuous snow drive way and sidewalks were clear of snow and plenty of parking for our work trucks. Better than staying in a hotel all week.

Nice place close to trails

Very clean, nice, and comfortable home. Its very convenient if you plan on riding the local trails. Since its an older house the stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom are quite narrow and steep, but not bad at all, just something to keep in mind. It is more of a guest house, but Threse and Mike were so kind and welcoming. We appreciated the time to chat with them to learn the history of the homes and see their beautiful garden. We would definitely come back again.

Calumet Stay

This was the perfect place for my husband and me. The host was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The host gave me some freshly picked berries that were delicious. The cabin worked perfect for us; it could easily occupy a couple of families. We enjoyed the trail nearby for a nice walk in the woods right across from the property. The cabin had all the things we needed. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it if you are looking for a place in the area.

House had plenty of room and was comfortable. Typical cottage with wolf pictures and lots of chairs and couches in the living room. We appreciated the kitchen with utensils and pots and pans. Bed in main bedroom had a bit of sag in middle but was fine. Only complaint was that card that identified user name and password didn’t work. The host told us they had to leave work to reboot it and that it was a problem with our computers or cell phones. We got one of the WiFi options to work after it was rebooted.

Not for the weak

I would recommend this home, unless you're unable to climb stairs. Lots of stairs. The mother in law fell twice going up. An older home isn't up to code on those small things we take for granted. Other than that, it was great.

Nice older home

Well stocked kitchen and accommodating host. Narrow/steep stairs to the second floor with the only bathroom but pretty typical for the older mining era houses in the area. Would stay again.

Absolutely loved the house

Three kids and hubby. Kids loved the separate bedrooms where they could hang out. Loved the decor and very responsive host. If they will have us, we'd love to come again.

Nice getaway

The place was clean and comfortable with the owner easily accessible. The only downside is the arrangement of the bedrooms and bathroom. You have to walk through either the bathroom or another bedroom to reach the back bedroom. It is awkward for 2 couples at times.
