Stayed at this property in 2022 for a girls trip and I really enjoyed the hotel, which is what prompted me to book again this year for my boyfriend’s birthday. But wow, this time was truly the opposite.
First, I booked a single, king size bed but was given a double queen room. This isn’t the end of the world but if I booked and paid for something, the expectation is that’s what I will receive. Next, there was only one working elevator that randomly went out of service while we were waiting for it.
The most upsetting part of our stay was the fact that they were doing construction on our floor. Around 08:30 in the morning on a Friday morning, the banging started, no prior warning whatsoever. In my opinion, that part of the hotel should’ve been closed off if construction was going to take place or not place someone in the room diagonal room.
However, I will say that the staff was very friendly and spoke every time we talked through the lobby area so that’s a plus.
