Cozy Cabin on the Water -Full Access

A cozy cabin on a stocked freshwater lake that is part of the Gulf Coast Aquifer system. Unique, beautiful, and private. Fully furnished kitchen, full bath, full sized fridge, queen sized bed, and all the amenities to boot. The back patio overlooks the water and incorporates living cypress trees into the construction. Comes with private parking, private dock, an outdoor gas grill, and fast Wi-Fi. Kayaks available.

While we are pet-friendly, we do charge a $40 fee per stay for the option of allowing your pets to stay with us. VRBO does not allow the incorporation of pet fees directly into the booking charges. If you are traveling with pets, you will be charged an additional $40 per stay to compensate for the additional time, money and effort required to maintain our facility in order to be pet-friendly. We take great care to clean meticulously to accommodate travelers who are not pet-friendly. Thank you!

We chose this place because it's the only place I could find that allows multiple pets, and didn't require the equivalent of a mortgage payment.We appreciate any place that realizes some people's pet's, are like family members.Location was convenient to the place we needed to go, and there is no lack of fast food, restaurants, and bars close by. The neighborhood was very quiet all weekend, but it is was also off season time. The kitchen had everything you would need if you wanted to cook your own meals. The only things that were not so good, was not having a ceiling fan in the bedroom, and the bed is a little uncomfortable.

Always a great time! Cabin has everything you need. Near shopping and the Kemah boardwalk. Also new 52 acre park for walking dogs or children playing. Host is kind and communication is awesome.

Very welcoming host. He was available for every message and question I sent. This cabin was everything I dreamed of. Quaint, nestled in the corner, and squirrels ant ducks all over the place. My kids favorite part was the tree ladder! I even asked the host if he’d be interested in selling. If you are looking for a small, calm and peaceful retreat, this is your place.

The property was unkempt and unclean there were ants in the bed, kitchen and bathroom. There were cobwebs everywhere and dust.The outside of the building was molded needed to be cleaned as well as the deck.

Very beautiful and accurate loved it. Very clean and cute everything there we needed. Even washer dryer to do clothes before heading home. Wine opener and glasses. My husband and i came to town for a graduation weekend and visit with family. We would definitely rent again. Unfortunately we had to leave early do to family emergency at home, but would come back. Good communication with owner about questions, quick answers.

Great Lake Getaway

The property was very cute! Small but the space was used well and we had no issues with the size. Great deck and lake views! The sheets were very soft. Easy to let a dog in and out the front door. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Parking was easy.

This was our second time staying at this property. It is just as advertised, except it will not sleep 4 people comfortably. However, it is quiet and cozy. Would recommend to others.

Especially Good for One

Communication was excellent, good use of limited space. The back deck was wonderful to watch wildlife and relax. For 2 it was super cozy and remote for our dealings in the south Houston area, better for those visiting Kemah, Texas City and Galveston.
