The room smelled like mildew after a recent rain. I worried about my clothes smelling like mildew after leaving so I kept most in the suitcase and closed it. There were holes in the duvet cover and the room felt dirty. Mattress was stiff and the pillows were generally flat. Very uncomfortable the first night and I hardly slept. Room was not cleaned daily. There was no soap or shampoo in the unit. I had to buy my own. Bathroom tissue is one ply and towels were old and rough. There was a coffee maker in the room with no cap on water reservoir and no coffee to make. Outside trash cans were overflowing and there was a cigar wrapper outside my door when I left after the first night. The TV remote was missing the back cover. The bedside outlet was loose and hanging partially out. Loveseat was old and felt dirty. I had to brush my feet off before putting on socks in the morning. The complex appears to be rented out to others on a long term basis so there were ashtrays and objects outside of the rooms and it felt like I was at a Section 8 apartment complex versus a hotel. People were yelling at 2 am, slamming doors, and cursing. It was not a pleasant experience and I will not be returning. Really more of a 1-star experience, but I am being generous with a 2 as at least it was low priced which I realized the reason for after staying 2 nights. If you are on a tight budget it keeps the rain off your head for a night, but otherwise poorly managed and would not recommend!
