”Everything was great, but the main city has become run down with homeless about, lots of construction. Hotel was on the outskirts which felt safer and access is key-only which was nice. Sadly Eureka has become a nasty city in general.”
”Spacious room. Clean and comfy beds and bathroom. Newer facility compared to others somewhat nearby for trip to the Redwoods. Even offered vouchers for breakfast. Easy self parking. Amenities as expected for our family stay.”
”This was an excellent hotel! It was conveniently located and has a ton of rooms. It's a very pet friendly hotel and has a great breakfast in the morning. The bed was extremely comfortable and gave us a great nights sleep.”

Now with all that being said, please read the listing carefully- you have to share restroom/shower facilities unless you book additionally for private. No shoes. Check-in time very particular; must have a mobile phone. You are close quarters with other guests, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a more intimate experience....
”It is a very good lodging option when you come to this part of northern California, convenient to the North, Redwood National Park, to the South, Humboldt State Park, and just a 6-minute drive from the zoo with its Sky Walk attraction. The hotel is very clean, the service is great, and the breakfasts are varied.”
”Having just packed up from an 8-day camping trip, the sweet, comfy and very private living room and bedroom suite above the garage was perfect for me. The rooms were very clean, there was plenty of hot water, the towels were new and soft and the Dish TV service excellent--plus the hosts kind and attentive. I hope to return to charming Ferndale one day, and enjoy staying at the old inn once again. ”
