”Great historic hotel and great price. Right in the center of Arcata Plaza - so lots of cute shopping and restaurants. The sushi place connected to the hotel was tasty. The room we had suited our needs and the bathroom had great water pressure. Our "view" faced the other rooms and part of the roof which was a bummer but we also didn't hear any of the street noise. ”
”Modern and new throughout, very well organized and well thought out inside the room. Has everything you would need for a short stay. And very nice and spacious communal area around the lobby. We love it and have become an instant fan of Home2 Suites by Hilton!”
”Checking in the owner gives you a tour and provides the history of the property and the area around the property. She is an excellent host. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you like historic mansions this is an opportunity to stay the night on one. The owner is also looking to open a restaurant and I look forward to returning. ”

”When we walked in, the lady at the front desk (Bonnie?)
was very welcoming and helpful.
The room was beautiful and clean.
The pool and hot tub and gym were perfect for our family.
I used the lovely office area to get some business done on one of the computers. Internet access was easy.

”It is a very good lodging option when you come to this part of northern California, convenient to the North, Redwood National Park, to the South, Humboldt State Park, and just a 6-minute drive from the zoo with its Sky Walk attraction. The hotel is very clean, the service is great, and the breakfasts are varied.”
”We did not plan ahead and needed a place to stay on the 4th of July. This gem of a propert had a room open at a decent price! The front desk staff had no customer service skills or information on the breakfast offered or pool.
We were able to see the fireworks from our room which was a great suprise. The breakfast was horrible very few options and messy.”
