”Haphazardly remodeled and dust from construction and paint drips were not cleaned up on the toilet water tank and shower curtain. Also there was a hole in the ceiling in the room which wan’t patched up. Reported to the front desk but was never offered another room. Paints under the upstairs walkway were peeling throughout and saw a wheel barrel left near the walkway. It appeared the building inspections were never conducted after remodels. Unbelieavable!”

”Manager of this place didn't speak and understand English. One of the rooms of our group was booked for one night only (the rest were for two nights), that was told to the manager when checking in and I especially came to tell that to the manager in the morning. People who slept in the room checked out at seven in the morning and left their keys. Still we were charged for two nights of that room also. Even Super 8 motels should have clerks with sufficient knowledge of English so they can serve...

”Very dirty, lots of spiders, bathroom felt like an outhouse, toilet screamed when flushed, floor was warping, extremely dusty, sheets were badly stained with even blood stains, the whole place was a construction site so we had to listen to loud drills and other equipment early in the morning”

”Super great place for our overnight stay. The amenities offered were over and above what you get at a more expensive hotel chain. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean and updated. Communication was very proactive and check-in was very easy. Will definitely recommend snd stay again. 10+ value for the money paid.”

”There appears no elevator, so those who have difficulty climbing stairs should request a room on the ground floor. There is a small laundry room, but the Soak-n-Suds is a couple of minutes away and is an excellent laundromat.”

”Room was clean and parking was very convenient. Hotel is very old but it appears to be kept up. Pretty nice for the price. Just don't expect a 4 or 5 star hotel. We probably would stay there again just for a quick overnight.”

”The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I had called and asked if this was a casino hotel and the answer was “not really”. It is a casino hotel. This means smoking is allowed in the gambling areas. Unfortunately, the smoke smell permeates everything, the check in, the bar and cafe. By morning when you leave the smoke has made it into the hallways of the room floors. ”

”check in late was easy with no interaction as the note was left at the reception desk in an envelope. just stayed for the night and it was uneventful”

”Funky, with spirit! I love the fact that the new owners were up front about their investment in the older property and passionate about gradually bringing it up to speed. It’s a classic motel in need of care, which means in need of customers. The room was totally clean, easy access, and easy parking for a motorcycle. I’m sure I’ll stay again, as it’s on my US 50 route for road trips. Keep this one going!”

”Quiet except for very noisy HVAC, comfortable beds, house keeping everyday. Rooms could use an update, I stayed in the annex. No breakfast is included,but room has frig and microwave.”

”Talking to aTV set. Creepy. TV wasn’t working. No one to call about it. No one at the office. Only some guy on a TV.”

”Al things considered, this place is not bad ; however, the AC was too loud and disruptive.”
