On a modest budget, it is a very well run family type motel, where you are treated as a long awaited cousin…it can benefit from some updating, but it is very clean, with comfortable beds and traditional yet clean bathroom, place. ”The good: The train trestle and bridge over the whishkah river was rad and made for a picturesque view out our ground floor room window. The sound proofing in the rooms is top notch. Couldn't hear a peep from neighbors unless you are out in the hallway. Couldn't hear the train either. The pool and hot tub are open till 10pm for kids and 12am for adults. ”Great restaurant Tuesday to Saturday dinner. Pricey but very nice with great food and service. Room was dated but clean and a true 1 bedroom separate from living area with fireplace and kitchen. Pool, hot tub, sauna across street but very nice.”

”The room had a very musty smell. The window in the bathroom did not lock so we were worried about someone breaking in all night because it was big enough that someone could crawl through. The mattress on the pullout sofa bed was stained. We were on the first floor and could hear people above us thumping around all night, which was super annoying.”

”The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy. Parking was convenient, and the location worked well for our trip. Breakfast was decent. Nothing particularly unique, but everything met our expectations. We had a pleasant stay.”

”Staff was really nice and helpful. However, I rented a two queen bed suite, but unfortunately, they had to move us to a one queen with a pullout sofa. The queen bed wasn’t so bad but the sofa bed was a complete joke. The mattress pad was so filthy we had to take it off. The mattress was so worn out there was just no padding left in . The couch was just completely worn out stained even had dry blood on the cushions. I can’t believe they can’t even replace the mattress pad in the pullout sofa bed....

”Where do I even begin? The room itself was poorly cleaned. The refrigerator has drinks left over from a previous guest and there was a long pubic hair in the batbroom sink. Air conditioner was broken so the room got very hot as the windows faced the sun. Couldn't even open the windows as there was no screen and bugs flew in. We had service animals and the manager on duty was trying to fight us tooth and nail in charging us the pet fee which is illegal for service animals. We ended up...

”It was a very nice and clean property. I nice trail to walk to the ocean. Staff was nice. The bed was to firm for me. I think they should invest in better mattresses. I couldn't stay there again do to the firm mattress. If the bed was more comfortable I love to stay there again.”

”Check in person was wonderful, very helpful and really appreciated them remembering me and my mother's, all in all it great stay and nice to have a dog friendly place to visit the beach! ”

”We enjoyed how comfortable the bed was we enjoyed the free breakfast which consisted of eggs sauces biscuits and gravy bagels with cream cheese we love that there was free coffee although the coffee was not hot but we still drank it. We enjoyed the pool in the hot tub that was lovely.”

Unit had a full kitchen, large living room with a dining room table that had a patio door right out to the pool area, and a separate bedroom. Considering it was a last minute booking, and choices are slim in Ocean Shores I feel I really lucked out!”
