”Really nice hostel! The staff are lovely and willing to help with whatever questions you have! Stayed in the 4-bed female dorm and it was pretty good - the floor was quite creaky underneath the carpets in the room so it was hard to be quiet when I had to be up early some of the days (thankfully the other guests were not bothered by this!). The head space on the top bunk was a bit tight but I was comfortable enough for the stay. Bathrooms and shower rooms were clean and tidy. Kitchen and common...

There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell.”

We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
