”An absolute gem in the heart of Pokolbin, Hermitage Lodge offers a peaceful and comfortable vineyard escape with stunning views, exceptionally cozy rooms, and the fantastic on-site Pescara Restaurant. Enjoyed the space, the wine tasting by Aeon wines was an absolute highlight and the fireplace in our room, lovely sunset and sunrise views and super central to everything! Check in was smooth and staff were outstanding!”

”We booked a room for 5 persons and the room was prepared for 4 people. When asked, we were told that it is possible to make the sofabed and bring a towel, but only against additional costs. The room was dates and poorly cleaned and had a half eaten cherry and similar items on the floor ”

”In the middle of the busy Hunter Valley wine area. Most hotels are really overpriced and the restaurants as well which is not very clever regarding the tourism industry. The hotel is a motel style place with no services. The water at the swimming pool looked not that fresh nor clean. Recommend staying outside of the wine region. Just make day trips to Hunter Valley.”
