”Had a wonderful visit in Huntington. The place is a short drive away from most things in town. Clean, cozy apartment type place. Even being near a hospital it was quiet. Place has everything you would need. And it was nice to see the host even included some toiletries such as sealed toothbrushes with toothpaste. And the little welcome package with crackers, pop corn, rice crispy treat and bottled water was also a nice touch. And greatly appreciated after driving for a couple hours. ”

”We showed up after 6pm. Beds were not cleaned or made. Dirty towels were on floor. Track can was full. Dirty dishes in sink. Bathroom not cleaned We had to strip beds, wash all sheets (and dirty towels), then out in dryer and remake beds. We had to put dirty dishes in dishwasher and run it. We had to take out thrash and wipe down bathroom. After speaking with owner, they took a miserly 50 off the rental Do not stay here”

”My daughters and I stayed at this quaint cabin for our Mothman trip. We woke up to cows mooing and beautiful views. I sat with my coffee watching the wildlife before we hopped in the kayaks and paddled around the pond. We ended our days with a chorus of frogs. About 20 min to Gallipolis and 35 to Point Pleasant, WV. Cabin is nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. Host is easy to talk with if anything comes up. Nothing did. ”

”Where do we start.. What an amazing place to get away. The house is beautiful and well stocked definitely everything you need just bring your food. The property is beautiful and so quiet. ”This is a location I needed to spend more than one night in, not just as a stopover. Larry is friendly and welcoming, communicated well, and efficiently helped me check in. The location is set back and very quiet, I loved the touch of delicious homemade wine for sale in the kitchen, and sitting on the porch sipping it while watching the wildlife was perfect.”
