”I booked this house for the property, the backyard, the dock, and it didn't disappoint. It's also about 20 mins from the main town (Cambridge) which was exactly what we wanted - a break from crowds and the bustle. We had such a relaxing few days just reading, fishing from the dock, and kayaking. We were four people, but this would easily fit two families. A wonderful stay overall.”

”The house is welcoming, with several different seating areas inside and out. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch and the chairs by the water. Kitchen is very well equipped. The property is about a mile and a half walk to St. Michael’s. The management company is quite responsive. ”

Trevor, the homeowner was accessible for answering questions or taking care of any issues. ”Lovely home and property. Kitchen was well equipped for large family dinners. Home was clean and had all the amenities. ”Three generations (11 of us) stayed for several Thanksgiving days. Played cards & games, went for walks & bike rides, cooked & ate meals together. The house and locale was just what we'd hoped: quiet, away from it all, very welcoming, room for all, comfortable and clean. The bay - so close! - was gorgeous even off-season. There were pretty sunsets and crystal-clear stars in dark night sky. Even the rainy day was lovely - view from the cozy indoors can't be beat. Much gratitude for sweet family...

”Wonderful stay at the house. The house was as advertised and had all necessary amenities. We had a blast together and didn’t have to worry about a thing with the house. I will note that the back steps that lead from the porch are very steep and elderly adult took a fall. A note on this or new steps would be great. The place was very clean. ”This is a beautiful historic property and the perfect setting for any escape. From the picturesque waterfront, to the charm of a historic home, this was truly a place to relax and enjoy the beauty of St. Michael’s. Our dogs loved the dock and swimming in Miles Bay, my teen and her friend enjoyed grabbing some sun on the decks. Peaceful sunsets with my husband and plenty of space to host a crab feast; or sneak into town for a meal at Ruse - this spot has it all. We can’t wait to come back!”
