  • This bright and welcoming three bedroom, two bathroom home sits right in the heart of Huron. It has an open layout, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, fast WiFi, and comfortable bedrooms. The location is close to parks, trails, shops, and local dining, which makes it a great spot for families or friends who want a relaxed lakeside getaway. The home is also around 10 minutes from the Cedar Point Park entrance, so it is an easy place to stay if you are planning a day at the park.

    The Space:
    The home has a comfortable, easygoing feel with plenty of room to spread out. The open concept layout connects the kitchen, dining area, and living room, so everyone can spend time together without feeling crowded. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, and everyday essentials, which makes meal prep simple.

    The living area has soft seating, a smart TV, and high speed WiFi for unwinding after a day out.

    The primary bedroom has a king bed and its own direct entrance to a full bathroom. This bathroom also opens to the hallway, so it can be shared by other guests when needed. The two additional bedrooms each have a queen bed, giving everyone a comfortable place to settle in. A second full bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and basic toiletries.

    Outside, you will find a charcoal grill with all the accessories provided, along with a firepit for evenings outside.

    This lake area cottage is less than 10 minutes from Cedar Point, Sports Force Park, and Kalahari. It is also just 5 minutes from Nickel Plate Beach, which is one of the nicest public beaches in Ohio.

This place was perfect for our family of 6, picturesque walk to the end of the street to the water, the back yard was wonderful. Everything we needed, and host was so responsive when I had to add a day to my reservation.

The property was very clean and met our needs for the weekend. We did not spend much time on site, as we were there for a softball tournament, so we basically just slept there. The downstairs bathroom was very cramped and the king bed was not as comfortable as we’d have liked, but it served the purpose. Overall, our stay was fine, and we would probably consider staying there again.

The only problem was we were expecting a gas grill in the back and it was a nice charcoal grill. We golfed 36 holes before getting to the house at 7:30 pm and we just didn't have the energy or time to get a charcoal grill started. We didn't want to go out after packing our meal for the house. We found everything we needed to prepare it on the stove.
