Cape Cod Lakefront -mökki

Tervetuloa! Tämä ranta lomamökki on ollut perheemme omistuksessa vuodesta 2012. Kun ostimme kiinteistön, tavoitteena oli säilyttää historiallinen tunnelma ja ominaisuudet, jotka tekevät siitä niin hienon paikan ja tekevät siitä vieläkin paremman. Siitä lähtien olemme jatkuvasti lisänneet parannuksia parantaaksemme järvenrantakokemusta.

Pyrimme parhaillaan (talvi 2018-2019) laajaan peruskorjaukseen ja laajennukseen, joka valmistuessaan tarjoaa viisi makuuhuonetta, kaksi täyttä kylpyammetta ja kaksi puoli kylpyä sekä uuden järvihuonetilan, joka tarjoaa lattiasta kattoon ulottuvan lasin suoraan päin vesi. Lisäksi perustan suojaamiseksi nostamme taloa melkein kolme jalkaa. Tämä parantaa entisestään uskomattomia järvinäkymiä. Tämän työn päätyttyä talossa on mukavasti 14 henkilöä.

Valtava etu laajennuksesta tarjoaa ensimmäisen kerroksen majoitukset vähemmän liikkuville perheenjäsenille. Yhdessä nykyisen täyden kylpyammeen kanssa tällä tasolla se tarjoaa pääsyn niille, joilla on vaikeuksia navigoida portaita. Katso kuvaosasta pohjapiirrokset ja asettelut.

Toinen uusi perk on talon jäsenyys paikallisessa kuntosalissa, joka on alle viiden minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Huron Health Club tarjoaa laajan valikoiman välineitä ja liikuntavaihtoehtoja.

Kaikilla näillä parannuksilla mökin parhaat osat ovat edelleen ehjät, mukaan lukien takka (joka muunnetaan kaasuksi helpompaa käyttöä varten), intiimi baari ja puupaneelit talon alkuperäisissä osissa. Tämä järven rannalla sijaitseva paeta on edelleen lemmikkieläinystävällinen ja pitää kätevän pihan ja kannen alueet. Ja omaisuus on edelleen vain 15 minuutin päässä Cedar Pointista, 10 minuutin päässä Kalaharista ja 5 minuutin päässä Sawmill Creekistä, ja se on edelleen lähellä kaikkia muita hauskoja aktiviteetteja Erie-järven etelärannalla.

Heinäkuun 2019 päivitys: Entisen talon rakenteellisten ongelmien takia olemme rakentamassa aivan uutta, 2800 SF 5 makuuhuoneen, 4 kylpyhuonetta, toisen kerroksen kannen näköalalla Erie-järvelle. Tämä uusi talo otetaan käyttöön elokuussa 2019. Kuvia ja päivitetty verkkosivusto julkaistaan, kun ne ovat saatavilla, mutta varmasti ennen elokuun loppua. Mutta huomaa, että talo on silti lemmikkiystävällinen!

Lake Erie Family Vacation
Property was great for our group, which included adults, teens, and dogs! House had everything that we needed. Location is very close to Sandusky and having a house right on the lake was amazing! Would recommend this property!

Beautiful location and great amenities! Although the outside of the property, including patio furniture, was covered in bugs and crawling with spiders, we realized that comes with the proximity to the lake. We simply didn’t use the outside furniture and enjoyed every moment.

Spacious
We would definitely stay again. It was spacious and roomy for 8 people and each had their own bed, bathroom and space. The view was fantastic! The games provided were a hit. However, the price was a bit much and the furniture was not the most comfortable. But overall, we could feel at home for a few days.

Family Stay
We had a family vacation with our adult children and their spouses. We were so happy that the place was pet-friendly, since we brought our dog. It was so clean and there was so much room! I would recommend black out shades on the windows, because it gets really sunny and bright in the morning. I was disappointed that I had to look at the neighbors "Trump 2024" flag, but I forced myself to look at the beautiful lake instead.

Thanksgiving trip
The view is outstanding! I loved falling asleep looking at and listening to the water. The house is clean and not cluttered. The beds are comfortable and the pool table was great for games with our teens. The location allows for easy trips into town- we found a yummy taco place and brought food home one night. The kitchen could benefit from more mixing bowls and baking trays. If there is something specific you want to cook you may want to bring the cookware needed with you. Permanent neighbor to the right has several dogs so if you bring yours- like we did- expect some friendly barking to ensue. Communication with the property manager over a slight issue was handled promptly.

ANOTHER RELAXING STAY
This was our second year in a row at 24 Silvern, and like last year we had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. We are 7 guys who went from kindergarten to graduation as seniors at Fremont St. Joe and have been getting together in September for 23 years. We are all in our 70's now and since we are all from the northern Ohio area we have decided that we are going to stay closer to home for our get together rather than travel long distances. We feel very fortunate to have discovered Ted's property on the shores of Lake Erie. There is something special about being right on the water. Ted is just a great host and makes sure you will enjoy your time at his place. His property manager Heather lives right next door and is very accessible to any needs our questions that may arise. Our coffee maker quit working the second day there and that afternoon Heather's husband brought us a new one. If you are considering a stay on the north coast of Ohio I highly recommend Ted's vacation home. Thanks Ted and Heather.

LOVED OUR PET FRIENDLY VACATION
Perfect house for group of 7 friends and our 3 canine best friends! Great location and close proximity to dog park, pickleball courts and restaurants (in that order). IDEAL FOR OUR NEEDS!
There are many benefits to be had from this property, but I would have to say that S P A C I O U S N E S S is the first word that comes to my mind. The layout IS MADE FOR large groups. After settling in on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie, you will immediately feel the calming affect being on the water has on you. Ted, the property owner, is a great host and Heather, his property manager, lives right next door to the property. She is right there to help you with all of your needs and questions. Great for multi family vacation
This lake house was perfect for our two-family group plus dog. Lots of room to spread out, clean and bright with spectacular views of the lake upstairs and down. I especially appreciated the mud room area just by the front door where everyone could leave their shoes and beach stuff out of the way of the main living space. Kid and teens loved having the pool table!

Great location for all Sandusky area attractions plus a beautiful view of the Lake and Cedar Point. Sunrise and Sunset very nice. Could have done without the political statement posted on the house next door but easy to ignore that. The interior was great. Nice lay out with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. A great view of the lake from the spacious main living room area and bar.

The house is very spacious. The layout is well thought out and you have separate spaces even though it's an open floor layout which was great for our blended family holiday. They also had great extras for pets and thought through the kids needs. The check in was great and the view was amazing.
