Karavaanialueet – Hvammstangi

”We picked this hotel because it was conveniently on our way. The location was very random though and there didn’t seem to be much around the hotel. The hotel seemed to be an old hotel that had been renovated. It looks nice in the pictures but there were some problems. The corridors had old dusty carpets. Our room was damp and there seemed to be moisture damage on the ceiling and walld. Our bedding was damp and the room was cold with no possibility to warm it. The breakfast was ok. ”

”Rakennus on vanha ja kaipaisi remonttia. Kylpyhuoneesta tuli sänkyyn homemainen haju. Huone oli pieni. Ilmanvaihto vähän huono. Hinta-laatusuhde ei ollut kovin hyvä. Nukutti silti hyvin ja aamupala oli ihan hyvä. Palvelu ystävällistä. Ravintolassa söimme reissun parhaat burgerit. ”

”3-room house. Very basic furnishings, but everything g is clean and well-functioning. Comfortable bed! Town has little to offer except the main restaurant; good food and we saw whales in the fjord while having dinner. It was a good, efficient stop on the Ring Road.”

”We had no heat from the radiator. I called the phone line for the host and they had no solutions. They could not get me another space heater. They could not explain why the radiator did not work. The room was in the low 50s all night and very cold and uncomfortable, and we barely slept. The radiator had worked and we had heat. It would’ve been a very pleasant stay”

”The place looks beautiful. The WiFi is really bad but we can live with it. They have bed bugs, all my family get tons of bitten.”

”Hotelli oli puhdas ja henkilökunta oli avuliasta ja hyväntuulista. Hotelli kuitenkin haisi vanhalle kellarille, se oli ainoa miinus. Söimme illallista, joka oli erittäin maukasta! Myös aamiainen oli hyvä. Kannattaa katsoa hotellinpitäjien instagram, siellä kivaa lisätietoa heidän projektistaan. Ei mikään luksushotelli, mutta yhden yön vierailuun sopiva maaseutuhotelli.”
