”This unique building has very high quality furniture, bedding, and towels. Even robes are provided. The hot tub in the back yard is a highlight. Lots of windows let in the epic Icelandic landscape. When the wind pics up you feel cozy and comfortable with every convenience. There is a full sized washer AND dryer (great for families). The gas station is a 10 minute walk away and has all the basic groceries you need along with a small diner. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stay. ”

”Helga was so nice and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed here as a stop off to head south to Vik and skaftafell glacier hike and it was perfect. Cozy anecdote comfortable, Helga even gave us some lovely chocolate cake 😊”

”Lovely rental- very clean and comfortable. The ocean is indeed right there, but there is a berm that reduces the view. We did not anticipate travel time to get to breakfast places- but there are some lovely dinner restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for this lovely stay.”

Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. ”Our stay at the Lake Palace was wonderful. The home is beautifully situated, spacious, and well equipped. The host was very accommodating and provided a crib and high chair for us to use for our little one. Soaking in the hot tub with a view of the mountains was an incredible way to unwind after a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here!”
