Lomamajat – Hwange National Park

”The lodge is amazing and we got to see elephants during the day and night next to our room. They quoted us a ridiculous amount for transport from/to Vic Falls so we had to make our own way there for a third of the price. There were more people going to Vic Falls the same day so I feel they could make an effort to make transport easy, fair and eco-friendly for their guests. Apart from that, we loved the lodge and the safari experience was amazing. We would have loved to stay more nights. Patrick...

”The staff was so friendly and thoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure our anniversary was incredible. The owners even can and had dinner with us the night we arrived. Ngasha was an incredible hostess/bartender, chef Kevin was amazing in the presentation and quality and taste of food, Fortune our guide was incredible and very intelligent and resourceful. ”The property is in serious disrepair! The veranda had a hole in it they just covered with a chair. The toilet had fesces in it. The pool was green with algae. The didn’t tell us there was no power and were running on a generator that the turned off in the night with no warning leaving us in the dark completely. (Not even a flash light). We had a 6 am game drive, and didn’t turn the generator till 10 minutes to 6. Tree had fallen across the pathway. I feel bad for the staff, for they are the ones...
