”Our room was in Birch Tower and was very nice, new, and clean. Beds were super comfortable and I liked the shower and bathroom. Room came with mini fridge and individual coffee maker. Nice that there was a coffee/pastry stand on the ground floor below us. The location was excellent and loved the art all around on 4th Street. Highly recommend staying here!”

Midtown is up and coming and it can be loud at night with the cruising and loud stereos but we were so relaxed in our room it didn’t bother us at all. ”Been staying at the Whitney Peak Hotel for more than twenty years. It has gone downhill recently - probably related to the Hilton purchase. Some of the staff seem to be out-to-lunch. Asked for a restaurant recommendation and was directed to Denny's. Not OK. The Whitney Peak is still the only hotel in Reno I am aware of that does not have a casino and does not allow smoking.
