”A little out of the way, but the reward for that is amazing peace and quiet. AJ made us feel so welcome, and he has such a sweet doggo! The owner has thought of all the small details that make a difference. There's a nice hot tub and patio seating area for breakfast if weather permits. Plus lawn games and a view that is so serene and beautiful. I can't even begin to express how amazing the breakfast was, plus a coffee/tea bar in the hallway outside the rooms. The bed and bedding were well above...

”We gave notice 1-1/2 days in advance of cancellation of three days of a six-night reservation. The motel manager wouldn’t give consent to Expedia of the refund so we were ripped off of over $150. What recourse do we have? The manager was belligerent and our conversation was heated, and he called the police. Refused to cooperate with us. Nothing happened with the police but he got away with our money. This is criminal!”

”We have stayed at Union Creek Resort many times, and have enjoyed them every time! On this trip, there were 10 of us. This time, the staff was especially helpful. I asked for and received early check-in. I noticed that some of the pots were showing signs of excessive wear, and the staff immediately replaced the whole set. I left a bag at the cabin after departure and it was mailed to me quickly. Finally, on our last night we shared a pie from Beckie's Cafe. What a great trip!”

”So, some people may remember the time when a budget motel was exactly that: A budget motel. A time when a clean bed and a hot shower was what you were paying for and not a bunch of crap like breakfast, in room coffee and numerous other amenities that are absolutely unnecessary and costs hotels a fortune which is passed on to all of us that still know how to travel smart and can find all of that on our own. Personally, I grow weary of paying 100$ a night for things I never use! Rice Hill Inn...

”We have stayed here many times for one night. It is very conveniently located off I 5, it's safe, clean, quiet, comfortable beds, and very friendly staff. Also they offer a great made to order breakfast. ”

”I will never stay there again. The toilet was dirty upon check in, the thermostat knob on heating unit was broken and didnt work and i asked to have it fixed and never was and the key cards didnt work on our last day before check out so i had to get a replacement. ”

”Do not reccomend. Very unclean. Room was very noisy and blood was on the bathroom floor. Sheets had stains and mirrors were in less than desirable places, which made us feel uncomfortable. There were extension cords leading out from the room below us which was covered up by foil. No gas station and only 1 bar to get food. Front desk woman was very kind, but the overall feel of this place was very horror movie.”
