  • ”Viihtyisä mökki” on viehättävä koti, joka on eristäytynyt Idyllwildin, Kalifornian metsissä. Tässä kodissa on 2 makuuhuonetta sekä parvi ja 1 kylpyhuone. Parvi sijaitsee olohuoneen yläpuolella ja sopii erinomaisesti varastointia varten erityisen pitkille oleskeluille. Molemmissa makuuhuoneissa on queen size-vuoteet. Tämä koti olisi hieno romanttiseen lomalle tai rauhalliselle rentoutumiselle perheelle. Suuri kansi on niin suuri ominaisuus kesäisin - ihanteellinen viihdyttämiseen ja tähtikatsellukseen! Kiinteistöllä on suuri alue lasten juoksemiseen ja leikkimiseen. Talvella voit rakentaa omia kelkkareittejä ja lumiukkoja! Vieraat voivat vaeltaa kiinteistön ympäri ja luoda omia luontoretkiä tai se on vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kaupungista!

Good Location but so so rental

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is close to town which is nice but I didn't see the value. For what I paid, I feel ripped off. Everything was old and run down. All of the furniture was incredibly uncomfortable. The beds especially were terrible. I left a day early just to get a good nights sleep. Sad inventory of kitchen equipment, although they had decent pots/pans and coffee/espresso maker. My stay was during Christmas so I did appreciate the christmas tree. Other visitors should note the path up to the house is all cobble, extremely uneven and not very safe. One of us ended up with a sprained ankle which seemed of no concern to the rental agency.

Cozy, peaceful cottage.

Nice and comfortable place surrounded by huge pine trees. The decor was a throw back to the 70s, but I kind of liked that. Nicely equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds.

Second stay with my family and it was wonderful

This was my second time staying here with my family and it was perfect. The cabin was well equipped and we didn't need to bring anything besides our clothes! I was able to cook all meals in the kitchen. The location was perfect and close to town but far enough away from noise to make a peaceful experience. Will go there again!

Get away from life

Wonderful experience. The outdoor deck is amongst the pine tress and we could hear the wind in the pines. Very romantic and peaceful.

Lovely mountain retreat

Beautiful property and very clean and comfortable home. We loved the spacious second-floor great room with large windows looking out into the trees and mountains. Both bedrooms open onto the large front deck where we enjoyed morning coffee. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful after some long days and we were very pleased with the good quality cooking ware and well-stocked kitchen. Definitely hope to come back again.

Amazing private cabin****

This cabin had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kids had a lot of fun with the ps3 and Wii that were available. Also, the cabin was very private surrounded by trees and nature.

Cabin is quiet and cozy-secluded area surrounded by trees- cabin a bit run down-remote control issues, no batteries or low batteries- damp towels hanging in bathroom-damp sheets and towels in dryer- kitchen and bath very clean Check-in would have been better at 3:00 and honestly too far to walk to town where you would have to walk on the main road without a sidewalk, unsafe.

Lovely area, Mountain View’s and tall trees… cozy comfortable cottage- homey! Great restaurant- Ferros with wonderful jazz! Tuesday nights! Many restaurants closed early March- trips to desert an hour or so away- beautiful drive down the mountain! Peaceful, serene and friendly people! All in all we enjoyed it and will return- Wi-Fi good as I worked a few days. Kathy and Gary

Very comfortable

The property was beautiful. The house was as advertised. The cookware was in good shape and there was plenty of it. The only thing I would change would be if they gave more direction on how to use the heater. The in floor heater went out at one point, mostly probably because we tried to turn it up too high, or the pilot went out. However, our host was able to help us the next day and the rest of our stay was perfect.

Secluded Cabin with all amenities

Cabin was spacious and fireplace was great. Heater worked great, especially with the cold weather outside. You do go through a patch of dirt road and it was hard to get the cars up the hilly ramp to park. Definitely recommend bringing chains roe that section or 4wd. We bought salt to spread on the ice and a shovel to clear some if the ice out. Other than that, ot was a great stay, everything worked great, grilled some meat outside.

Dark and dreary

No cell phone reception when we arrived. Office was closed but suppose to be open. Office was hard to find. Had to ask neighbor real estate building for help. Then had to use the real estate network to call. Outside cabin property is extremely awkward for seniors and toddlers. It was not described in description. Not stable. Inside dark and dreary. Took a long time to figure out lighting. Shower door on far side was useless. Uncomfortable. Difficult to get the water warm. Too many pillows.

CONS: There was an electrical problem with the oven so the property manager had to shut it of. For our inconvienece they said they would bring us coffe and some danish in the morning..... they did not. We had to sweep the deck when we got there due to the carpet of pine needles and branches. the hot water was not very hot and ran out quick.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Half of the road to the cabin was washed out just below the turn off from the main road which was impossible to see when arriving in the dark. The bed was comfortable. The shower nozzle was short but there was decent water pressure. There was no soap in the shower. Also no tissues anywhere we could find. Once the heater was turned on, the cabin was warm in the bedroom and bathroom. The firepllace doesn’t work. Vrbo gives you no advance notice that the rental management company for this cabin has a very unreasonable, one-sided, 9 page rental agreement that has to be signed after you’ve already committed and paid VRBO for use of the cabin. VRBO should make renters aware of this additional document prior to the commitment to rent, especially if you are committing after the cancellation date. Vrbo will not return your payment if you don’t want to sign the document with the rental management company (because of all the liability you’re signing up for). I called Vrbo about this. Customer service reps there were sympathetic but unwilling to return our payment. We signed the document to get the key. We were only there for a weekend wedding and didn’t spend much time there. We didn’t use the kitchen. Fortunately, nothing went wrong. Had we read this particular rental agreement before committing to Vrbo we would have stayed in a hotel. This rental management company controls a lot of properties in Idyllwild. The management employee who checked us in was very nice and efficient.

Just exhausting

We were contacted about an hour before we were supposed to leave for our check-in that the original cabin was not ready for us. They put us in a different cabin that was not ready for occupancy. When we arrived at the cabin, it was 50° with only one heater in a downstairs bedroom and space heaters for everywhere else. When you turned on the space heaters it tripped a breaker, and the power went out. This happened several times during our stay, several calls were made, it took hours for people to respond to us. we slept downstairs on the couch without proper linens or bedding just to stay warm. The management team that ran the cabins for the owners were horrible. They really had nothing to help or any proper plan in place for any kind of event like this. Interestingly enough, the owner lived on the site where we were at and she was very helpful. This was not her fault at all. She tried to facilitate everything she could, and even had wood delivered for us, so that we could sleep our second night in warmth. The only thing that the property management offered us was a late check out. I requested to have at least the first night refunded to us, and after many go arounds and several email attempts I was told that I would only be getting the actual rental rate which is about 30% of what we paid for the one night. Again, although the owners were actually very helpful, upset about the situation and were nice The management company was an absolute joke, and did nothing for us , I had to call VRBO just to get a response and even then the owner called me back not the management company. It felt like a waste of time because for the 48 hours we were there we were either cold trying to keep the power on or on the phone there was nothing relaxing about this. I was told I would have an answer from the management company in response to my email within 72 hours, they played a game for two weeks each time stating that my email had gone into a junk folder. The odd thing about that was I was replying to an email that was sent to me from the management company and even called them out on that, so how would or could my email go into a junk folder when it was sent from them directly initially? Not worth the time to go there again and have anything like this happen again as long as that management company is running things.

Everything was great. Can not wait to go back. Very comfortable, scenic and quiet. Staff and owner was helpful abd amazing!

The cabin was secluded and private. Easy check in and check out. The cabin was clean and everything needed was there.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfectly located near enough to town. There were lots of shops and restaurants in town. Great trails to go hiking! The cabin was nicely set up, especially the porch! Unfortunately the neighbors dog barked quite a bit.
