âWe purchased a day pass to enjoy the beautiful hot springs at Rio Perlas Thermal Resort & Spa, and it was absolutely worth it! The pools were relaxing and well-maintained, and we also went on a scenic hike that made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was visiting the farm and getting to pet the animalsâit added such a fun, unique touch. We had an amazing time overall and definitely plan to return when weâre back in Costa Rica!â

The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room.
I spent most of my time on the deck.

âThis property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful OrosĂ valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the familyâs orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...
âStaying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. Thank you to the Alonso family!â

âCedrela is nestled in the mountains of Costa Rica. It was easy to navigate there. The accommodations are clean, but the standout of Cedrela is the restaurant, Al Mercat. We had a fantastic meal and ate nearly everything on the menu (advice - go with at least 5 people so you can effectively share!). â
âThey have a small lake on property with row boat and walking trails which they charge extra for this.
Breakfast included ( Good ) but very limitedâ
"We enjoyed our short stay. Out flight left early in the morning, so we really appreciated the take-away breakfast and airport shuttle service. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Good hotel for a good price. "
