”The Bamboo was a great apartment hotel for a one night stay in San José. We had airline problems/last minute cancellation with American Airlines and didn't get in until late. The hotel made sure someone was there late and when we needed to go out to meet up with local friends they provided us with the garage gate opener. The breakfast was a great local home made dish.”

”We spent two nights in a boutique type hotel Volcanes. It was located in the very center of Alajuela. It’s a small family run hotel with a good friendly english speaking staff. GPS gives right location, so you need to find the gate and push the bell, but it is a bit busy street to just stop...
