Majatalot – Ilha da Culatra

”Loved this guest house, as needed somewhere for one night before leaving Portugal. We had a geound floor room, and the beach view was higher than our level, but you can see the sea when standing. Lovely to hear the waves, and i was concerned it was under the flight path but very little plane noise too. There was a party on the roof that night so we couldnt use, but there are so many other bars and restaurants on the strip it didnt matter, and everyone had packed up and gone by 9.30. Would...

”Everything about our stay was perfect. the staff are fabulous, our room and the property generally were very clean and very well appointed in an elegant, chic decor. Breakfast was a good, simple continental buffet. ”

”Great hostel, good Central location. 5 minutes walk into the city centre, 2 minutes walk from the nearest bars and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable bed and good communication from the host throughout our stay. If I'm nit picking the only very slight drawback was, the bedroom curtains, weren't full blackout (I'm a very light sleeper) but this was a very small thing, and it probably won't affect most people. I would have no hesitation in staying there again. Recommended. ”

”Exactly as described and in a great location. My room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I didn’t make use of the communal areas but they were all really clean and quiet. Saw lots of reviews about external noise, but I didn’t hear any at all (Sunday to Wednesday)”

”The property is not as presented. The house I stayed in was utilitarian at best. There were no amenities and the pool is off property. That being said, there was hot water and the bed was comfortable. When I checked in the host said “It’s not the Sheraton” and I agree. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it. ”
