Huvilat – Ilminster

”Had a four day break with parents, the cottage was spotless on arrival and well equipped. The wifi was occasionally sporadic but to be expected in a rural area. We slept well with no passing traffic and even with four adults there was ample hot water.Lots of seating and although weather was poor the outside seating area was great . Small downside was the property can be rented alongside next door(semi detached) , there is a locked interconnecting door but the noise can carry through a little .”

”This is an amazing property………Classic somerset cottage equipped with all modern conveniences. Super quiet (well a few tractors collecting the harvest!). We all slept very well. It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. We made day trips to the Haynes motor museum (amazing if you are a car buff…..some days they bring cars out of the museum and you can ‘poke around’ at them) and to Lyme Regis, which has...

”Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Superb views across to the hills behind the village. Very nice toiletries provided and excellent tea/coffee/hot chocolate in room facilities with biscuits! I really enjoyed the comfortable residents lounge which was unexpected but a nice place to relax and read a book (motor racing or vehicle enthusiasts will enjoy the book selection).
