”This place deserved five stars not because it was like the Ritz-Carlton, but rather because it delivered what it promised. The room was spacious and clean; the staff was very friendly and helpful; the price was reasonable; the breakfast was good; and the place was in a convenient location. If I was in that area again, or driving through it, I would certainly stay again. ”

”My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend!”

”Great relaxing place on the lake and fantastic to create new and fun memories with family! We did kayaking, fishing, campfires, card playing and playing in the sand at the house. We visited Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, Lilac Festival at Mackinac Island and jet skied at Burt Lake. Much needed time away to reconnect and be rejuvenated! Communication with the owner was superb and quick to respond!! Thank you for a fantastic time!!”

”Had a great view of the lake and easy to park your boat. I would recommend some non stick pot and pans. Eric was super helpful. Our rental buddies were awesome neighbors. Fishing was a bit hard but fun. Never saw a hail storm in June it was crazy. Thank you for the memories. ”
