Kaunis, 200 vuotta vanha hirsitalo - eristäytynyt, 30 min. keskustasta

1800 neliömetriä kotiin keskuslämmöllä ja -jäähdytyksellä. Se on uusittu hiljattain vuodesta 2019 alkaen. Se istuu 9 hehtaarin täydellisellä yksityisyydellä.
Voit vaeltaa omaisuutta, kalaa puolen hehtaarin lampiista tai istua kahdella parvekkeella, rentoutumalla luonnon ääniin. Linnut ja vesilinnut ovat tämän ominaisuuden piirre. Jos nautit leirintäalueesta, voit vapaasti laittaa teltan tai kaksi. Nauti kotista pari päivää tai koko kuukauden.
Pääkerroksessa on erillinen oleskelu- ja ruokailutila, joista jokaisella on suuri näköala. Sieltä pääsee käsiksi ympäröivään parvekkeeseen. Tällä tasolla on myös uusittu keittiö, jossa on ruoanlaittovälineet ja niitit. On myös vieras puolihoito keittiöstä.
Toisessa kerroksessa on kaksi yksityistä makuuhuonetta ja kylpyhuone. Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on antiikkinen sänky, jossa on pesuallas ja turhamaisuus. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on vintage-juliste, jossa on sopiva pukeutuja ja turhamaisuus. Jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa on vähintään yksi vaatekaappi.
Alimmalla tasolla on päivänvalon kellari, jossa on lepotuoli ja vuodesohva. Tällä alueella on puoli-kylpyamme, kodinhoitohuone, pelipöytä ja toinen televisio. On ovi, joka voidaan sulkea muuhun taloon, joten sitä voidaan käyttää kolmannena makuuhuoneena. Tämä alue avautuu pienelle patioille, jossa lampi on vain muutaman askeleen päässä.

The Hutch House is exactly as described. Richard and Marsha were quick to respond during the booking process and during our stay. The little pond was a great source of entertainment for everyone: from fishing to riding in the boats. My 13 year old daughter caught her first large mouth bass and loved feeding the turtles! We also caught lots of large bluegill and the hybrid bluegills were a surprise with their blue and purple coloring.There was plenty of space for our family of 9 to roam outside or chill inside. The kitchen and pantry were stocked with everything needed for cooking, lots of coffee options, and grilling items. We also loved the fire pit!We will definitely book again!!

The "Hutch House" is a great place to stay if you are looking for rest and relaxation. The home has a lot of character, and the lake view is spectacular. There is a lot of wildlife to enjoy, right from the deck or through the large windows. Richard and Marsha are wonderful hosts. Thank you!

Family vacation

We loved our stay, we felt so comfortable and right at home. This is a beautiful old house with so much room. The view of the pond from the dinning room and the decks is wonderful and relaxing. Our boys fished everyday and night, they caught a few fish. They got a kick out of the pedal boat. It was a great vacation and we would definitely stay again

Excellent remote location

My family and I enjoyed this location. There were tons of animals to see, the windows give a great opportunity to observe wildlife from the dinning room. House has a great history and great walking on the property itself. We enjoyed locating and identifying the local flora.

An amazing getaway

This was a perfect property for what we were looking for. We wanted to be near Indianapolis, but have some space when we weren't in the city. The house is located back in a secluded area and has its very own pond and beautiful grounds to walk. My kids played outside on the swing, collected sticks and rocks, and we all saw lots of fun wildlife like woodpeckers, muskrats, heron, ducks and geese. The little row boat and paddleboat were fun to play in out on the pond. The house itself is 3 stories of rustic beauty - and it was stocked with everythign we could need - even a few food items they left for us in case we had forgotten a meal or two. We were able to really relax away from it all here for a few days. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway in this area.

Weekend Retreat

It was a wonderful location to observe nature from indoors! We were able to photograph and identify 14 different birds, a hare, and many deer! In addition, it was a very comfortable atmosphere to cook, to read, and to watch movies! All of which we did as the temperatures outside were freezing!

Another Dandy!

I so enjoy Hutch House. You feel very private and secluded, without being actually isolated, which since a I travel solo is important. Marsha and Richard are amazing hosts. There was a boiler kerfuffle before I started my visit - they were very communicative and I appreciated it. The birds were so active during my stay - I really enjoyed watching them. It stays on my favorite places list.

Perfect Christmas

We stayed at Hutch House during Christmas week. I brought a small tree, not knowing if the owners had put one up. Not only did they have a beautifully decorated tree, Richard and Marsha had decorations throughout the house. It was beautiful! Such a nice touch. Everything was perfect!

Family Gettaway

We met family to spend early holidays together. It was nice to have a quiet place to retreat to for few days. We cooked and appreciated having the best stocked kitchen we’ve stayed at ever. The holiday decorations were also a nice touch. Thank you!

Amazing place!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. Owners responded to questions very quickly and cared about making sure the cabin was ready and welcoming. Lodging was very clean, kitchen was well-stocked for any kind of cooking and there were plenty of books and games. Kitchen has windows looking out onto a pond and the sunrises were beautiful! We celebrated a combined Thanksgiving/Christmas weekend with family and the cabin's ambiance was a perfect location to do it! Southeastway Park is a wonderful hiking/walking location just minutes away and there are plenty of restaurants within a 10-minute drive. This property combines the convenience of the city with the privacy of a country location. One of the best we've ever stayed in!

Cozy remote working

This cabin was a fantastic location to work remotely in a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts thought of everything for us and were easy to communicate with. As someone from a rural area I appreciated that they promoted the area's small town businesses to visit during our stay.
