Cabin nestled on 16 acres of peaceful and beautiful nature. Located in the quiet town of Martinsville. Just 36 miles from downtown Indy, unwind and reconnect with peace and nature! Come and enjoy serenity and tranquility this location has to offer. Whether you want a break from the daily hassle or you just want to enjoy peace and quiet, book a visit!

How you spend your time is up you!
There is something for everyone to enjoy.
- Recline next to the cozy fireplace
- Enjoy the indoor hot tub.
- Sit in the screened porch
- Kick back under the sun on the large deck.

Or get out and get going! These are just a few options.
- Build a bonfire
- Kayak or fish in the large private pond(2 Kayaks and paddles provided, 2 child life jackets and 2 adult jackets provided)
- BBQ on the large deck (Propane provide)
- Picnic on any of two outdoor lounge areas.

Our 2-bedroom cabin with a finished basement can comfortably host 8 guests. With room to accommodate up to 10 with additional fees. Perfect for the whole family or honeymooners!


Disclosure: We protect the security of our guests. For this reason we have installed a security system incl. burglary and fire alarm. There are also the following outdoor cameras in use:
1. Outdoor camera detached garage (covering drive way and parking lot)
2. Outdoor camera front of home (covering front entry)
3. Outdoor camera back porch (covering back of property towards grass filed)

*Please note security cameras are checked upon arrival for unauthorized guests or animals.*

- Although this is strictly a NO pet friendly property we accept ESA. Which must be disclose at booking with paid fees and a rule acknowledgement.

- $350.00 pet fee 200.00 of which is refundable once property has been inspected for pet damages.
- Certification or medical note must be provided.
- No pets allowed on furniture or beds.
- Pet must be caged and have boundaries while in home.
- Excrement must be picked up from open walking areas.
- No bathing in kitchen sink.
- Must bring own towels for bathing animal, do not use home towels or full replacement price will apply.
- Failure to disclose ESA will result in immediate cancelation and all party will be asked to leave property. No exceptions.

Lovely and clean secluded spot
The house and property were clean and well maintained the owner was very responsive to all questions. The owner notified us that mosquitoes had become a problem but they had the grounds professionally sprayed. We brought a couple of foggers and had no problems with the pests. Only one small quibble, there is no view of the pond from the house— otherwise perfect!

The cabin and property are absolutely stunning. Guests have nultiple sitting areas to choose from, both indoors and out. Walking through the woods and down along the river was peaceful and serene, and the hidden location allows you to escape. There are neighbors on each side, but they're not super close. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Home is beautiful inside, and the hot tub room was nice. The owners dont allow food or drink in the living areas, which is a bit of a bummer when you want to play games or just hang with your friends/family. You can't flush toilet paper due to the septic for some reason, which can be a little weird with open-top trashcans and 8 people. The upstairs bedrooms were comfortable, but it did get a little warm and there are no screens on the windows. The queen bedroom needs some furniture to charge phones, put glasses, or anything (there are no nightstands or anything near the bed). The sofa bed was a little concave, and the bunk beds are a little tight height-wise (had a friend crack their head). Martinsville is a small town, but you're vlose to several great outdoor rec areas, Bloomington is only a 25m drive from the cabin if you're wanting great restaurants and some fun shopping.

Lovely cabin with all you need
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Taurina Cabin. It is a beautiful property! It's set on a hill with a view of a water area down below and there are kayaks available for use. The cabin is lovely! It is so very well kept, updated, and has everything in it you may need. It is quite spacious, and well furnished with many amenities. Having the indoor hot tub and gas fireplace made it a very nice place for relaxing. Also, the owner responded very quickly to questions we had. I would highly suggest this cabin to anyone who's looking to come and stay in this beautiful area! If I were able to change anything at all, I would just suggest two things that may contribute to the already outstanding comfort of the cabin.... 1) Adding a dresser or bedside tables to the 2nd upstairs bedroom would be a nice addition. 2) Adding some type of door to the lower bedroom would give privacy and block out noise if someone is watching tv or sleeping in the other area.

Relax & Recuperate
A beautiful home in a setting that relaxes you upon entry. Only six of our family could get away for this extended weekend, but we six are renewed. Everything was so new, spacious rooms gave us plenty of gathering moments, and the setting in 13 acres is just heavenly. The queen bedroom needs a bedside table, and the disposal of toilet paper might be disclosed early to next visitors.

Family country get together
This place was great for our adult kids and granddaughter to drive in and meet us for a weekend get together. Plenty of room and we loved the country setting. Beautiful cabin, so clean and comfortable. It was the perfect spot for us to enjoy our time together !!

Late Family Christmas
I'm a busy caterer from northern Indiana...so our "extended family" holiday gathering was delayed until January. The owner graciously left the Christmas decor in place for us--the place is tastefully decorated, but not cluttered or over-done. My mother and I enjoyed a weeks respite, with my husband and our children coming and going at various times throughout the week/weekend, and all of us celebrating a late Christmas gathering on Saturday. It was WONDERFUL! The location is secluded, but close to town. The hot tub and fireplace...scenic views...rustic charm...all you could ask for, but also with all the modern conveniences you could want. Squirrels, red-headed woodpeckers and deer entertained us right outside the windows. We hope to make a return visit in warmer weather to enjoy the nearby pond/river, and the other outdoor amenities. Would recommend some bedside tables/lamps for the secondary upstairs bedroom for nighttime reading, and maybe a chair in that room...my mother is often awake at night.. but that is the only thing I could find to ask for! It's THAT GOOD! Oh...and a hair dryer! The upstairs beds were amazing. The lower level accommodated two couples and a kiddo quite well also. Communation with the owner was readily available, and she was helpful and friendly. Looking forward to Next Time!

Cabin in the woods
We really enjoyed a relaxing New Year weekend at Apolonia’s cabin in the woods. The place was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The host was quickly attentive with the one small issue we had with a door keypad lock. The cabin was very clean and set on a wonderful piece of property. Wish the weather would have been better because there is plenty to do outdoors. We would definitely be happy to make a return visit.
