”The Retro Bungalow was so unique inside and out! We loved all of the retro decor that brought back memories of our childhood. The view was gorgeous and was my favorite thing. It was so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for proximity to hiking. Thank you Darlene for opening your special place! We will be back.”

”Very cozy and clean home surrounded by beautiful wood lot. We loved how close to the main road it was, and the quick 5 minute drive to downtown Floyd. The view from the loft was spectacular. The queen bed we slept in on the main floor was comfy, the shower felt wonderful with the rain shower head, and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed sitting by the firepit on the deck and watching deer forage in the woods nearby. It was really a peaceful and serene getaway, and we definitely plan on...

”Very clean space (in nature and I didn't even see a bug inside) impressive woodwork and nice amenities including a hot tub. Very cozy, great place for a stay while maybe hitting a local trail and/or staying in and listening to the rain with a book. Also had coffee from a local roaster, fresh bag of whole bean too!! Little thoughtful things are wonderful ”

”I could not make the trip, however my children (they are grown was able to). They raved about the property, access to trails, the firepit at night. They said the next property I book they want it like this one.I was in communication with the owner who was quick to respond and so accommodating. ”

”We had a lovely stay! The creek and the area is beautiful. Lots of firewood was provided so we sat out with a fire both evenings and really enjoyed cooking on the pellet grill. Our dog had a great time. We were cozy warm inside and enjoyed hearing the creek at night. There were people staying at the campsite nearby one night and they were great neighbors. Lots of various provisions already there and everything you might need to cook.”
