”I was there visiting family, never used work station”

”Booked last minute on Expedia due to flight cancellation. When arriving at midnight front desk clerk tells me the power has been disrupted and they could not take Expedia reservations. Told her it was non refundable and all hotels at DTW were sold out. Her attitude was terrible and she was going to kick me out after a long horrible day in the middle of the night. After some begging she gave me a room. For a 2 star hotel they overcharged knowing travelers were desperate. Never again ”

”Stayed here while visiting a family member at U of M Hospital. Only stayed to sleep and shower. Convenient and easy to get back and forth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. I have to say that the room and bathroom were one of the cleanest I’ve had in a hotel in a long time. And that’s something that is very important to me when traveling. ”Did not use their Wi-Fi, staff all very friendly and accommodating, and did not use laundry facilities. Breakfast offering is very good, and coffee available 24/7 which is nice. Rooms are clean and can always get extra towels, and mini fridge and microwave are a big plus for me.”

”I think they are skimping on the staff. Place could really use updating, or they should price the stay more accordingly. My curtains were falling off the track, carpeting had large nasty stains. The bedside table was propped up by a brochure underneath. I was afraid the shower curtain was going to fall off the wall and the toilet paper holder was falling out of the drywall, dangling by screws. There was some kind of creepy crawly in the bathroom when I returned from an event nearby so I checked...

”The condition of hallway carpeting was disappointing. Room's HVAC operation was poor. The shower delivered only cold water--after running 20 minutes. The sink hot water only got mildly warm. The mattress was the worst I've had in a motel in decades of traveling. I was assigned an accessible room.”

”The rooms have kitchens. Our room had an odd smell that we think was ingredients from a previous guest who cooked in the room.”
