”The area leading to the property left us a little uncomfortable, but as we’ve gotten near the property, the neighborhood was quiet and well kept. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the morning complementary breakfast extremely tasty.. The property itself is very cool due to all the antiques to go with the Victorian home..”

”Breakfast was not being served every day which was disappointing but great deli just across the street which took up the slack. My only critical remark is that there was only one desk-type chair in the room with two beds - so maybe more than one guest in the room requiring another chair? We could have asked and I'm sure they would have accommodated! They did bring in a small fridge at our request: no problem. Great spot: excellent little hotel! ”

”Reception staff were amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely property, very new. The only thing I could fault was an extremely noisy a/c fan. Would totally recommend staying here it’s in a great location and the coffee here is great and it’s locally roasted I’m told. ”

”Vietimme hotellissa kaksi yötä. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli nopea ja saimme huoneen hyvissä ajoin ennen virallista sisäänkirjautumisaikaa. Huone oli siisti ja sänky todella mukava. Huonepalvelusta edellisiltana tilattu aamupala saapui ajallaan ja oli maittava. Hotellista on vaikea löytää mitään vikaa. Sääli ettei ympäristöstä voi sanoa samaa. Kadulla oli liikkeellä todella epämääräistä porukkaa emmekä halunneet lähteä hotellilta ulos enää pimeän tultua.”

”I’ve stayed in ton of 5 star hotels (Langham, Ritz, etc) but this is property is probably my favorite! I don’t love Philadelphia, but the Canopy has lovely, clean rooms, a great bar with amazing bartenders and a welcoming staff. I won’t stay anywhere else when visiting Philly from now on!”

”We booked this spot last-minute during an unexpected overnight layover in Philly and were so glad we did. The location in Old City was perfect—super walkable and felt very safe, even walking to grab a late-night Philly cheesesteak after 11pm on a Saturday. It was a little chilly, but still such a fun way to experience the neighborhood.
