”Olimme tässä hotellissa lopulta kaksi yötä ystävien kanssa. Paikasta oli näppärä käydä päivän vaellusreissulla Mount Kosciuszkolla, Australian korkeimmalla huipulla. Hotelli oli hienolla paikalla järven rannassa. Parvekkeelta oli hieno näkymä järvelle. Huone oli mukavan kokoinen ja siisti. Sänky oli hyvä. Buffet aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja hyvä. Uima-altaalle ei ehditty, oli jo suljettu kun tultiin illalla takaisin. Lähellä oli paljon ruokapaikkoja.”

”The property is old and needs a lot of work but in saying that it is what it is and the price reflects that. The shower, bed and wifi were all perfect which is all I'm after. The decor, bar, dining and games areas brought back childhood memories of family holidaying in the 70's. The potential for this place and location is great and I look forward to seeing if they get there.”

”The room was quiet, tidy and spacious with a lovely view and effective heater. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful and reasonably prompt when assistance was needed. Although instructions were to wash your dishes, no detergent was supplied. The large bed appeared not to have had sheets changed as one side of the pillowcase smelt like sweat and there were a few head hairs between the sheets. Ignoring that, we were very comfortable.”

”They say you get what you pay for, but that's not the case if you book the Snowy Mountains Hostel. The website advertises a public bar, bistro, and pool table, but none of those were available during our stay. They say there's an indoor pool but we couldn't find it. We would have asked reception where the pool was, but it wasn't manned, at all (the website said it would be). There was a sign at reception that said "call this number if there's no-one at reception" but no-one answered (well...

”We booked the deluxe king room. Well we got quite a surprise when we opened the door at it was soooo small. It had a microwave so I assumed when I was packing that there would be some crockery and cutlery but no, there was only teaspoons and cups! thankfully the bed was very comfortable and the towels (no face washer) were beautiful and soft and large.”
