”Confusing checkin. Building was covered with scaffolding so we could not find it. Directions to get into the building were confusing and took going through numerous emails to finally figure things out. Two other guests were equally confused so it wasn't just us. Window in the bathroom would not close or open. Parking was a nightmare as "ignoring the no overnight parking" sign is difficult advice to follow for rule following Canadians!”

”Hands down our best room in Scotland! The room & bathroom were spacious, immaculate, and warmly decorated. Everything you might possibly need was provided - a plethora of complimentary snacks & beverages, wonderful local soaps & lotions, a hair dryer (lacking in 2 of our previous rooms). Small little kindnesses like a tiny flashlight attached to the room key & umbrellas provided in the room , lots of hanging & hook space. It was just a lovely lovely room with numerous extras that set it...

”I was actually shocked at the room. $200 US a night and no attached bath. Owner needs to make it clear that private bath is down the hall. Receptionist was gracious and worked out a refund for the second night but I would have never booked the room had I known my private bath was down the hall. Room was very sparse for the price. Walls were very thin. Listened to my neighbor clear his throat all night. Just not a comfortable room at all.”
