”We stayed for one week in this beautiful log house, which had all of the amenities that one would need. Both inside and outside very well equipped. Sian was excellent in answering my queries before we arrived. Sue the housekeeper, responded in no time when I texted her to ask where I would find an extra tea towel and bin liner. She came a short time after to get them from the locked housekeeper's cupboard-thank you Sue!”

”Stayed for a week in this cottage with fabulous views. Very clean and just about everything you need. We were only missing a corkscrew and egg cups, but anything else you need is there. Not quite as homely as we would have hoped as the cottage is quite sparse, but still had a wonderful time. Great to be able to access the canal and take a nice long walk to Neptune’s staircase from the cottage!”

”Das Haus ist zauberhaft und durchdacht. Das EG großzügig und Licht durchflutet mit riesiger Küche. Oben 2 Zimmer mit Dachschrägen. Das Zimmer mit dem großen Bett hat ein gefangenes Duschbad mit niedriger (180cm) , schmaler, angeschrägter Zugangstür. Als 2m-Meter-Mann kommt die Duschhöhe ans Limit. Ergänzend ein weiteres Bad mit Badewanne. Die direkte Lage am Loch phantastisch ( nur getrennt durch eine Straße, direkt gg. der Isle of Skye) und das Dorf sehr schön. Ca. 30 Minuten zu relevanten...

”Nice big house for a very comfortable stay. Plenty of rooms and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen as well. Views around the property are very scenic and help one immensely to unwind. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and a great experience. We will surely prefer this property again in future and recommend it anyone with a large enough group.”

”The house is spacious and in a lovely location just outside Fort Augustus. Plenty of room for 7 people and well equipt. Great for dog owners! (But could do with a bit of TLC). Great walks staight out of the door and a good starting point for trips out to the surrounding area, Inverness or Skye only1 hour away. Would recommend this property to families with dogs! L&M”

”One of the messages from the property didn't come through, the one that gave decent directions. Several places en route looked like they were the property. It took a while, but we eventually found it. Apparently there's a kitchen on site, but we only found one in the hostel across the street? Had a hard time finding the switch to turn on the hot water, I tried messaging the property, but it was late and I never got a response. The switch was pretty big by the showers, I probably missed it since...

Choose a hotel on Skye, or just the one by the sea
"The place was worn-out. The clerc at the reception on Saturday June 1st was unpleasant - no, he was rude, and should not be in a profession like this. Probably good in doing something else, but definitely not in what he was doing now. Because of him we didn't eat in the restaurant... ALL the rest of the personal was very good and nice, but this male destroyed even that 👎👎👎"
