”This place was one of the priciest but it had good reviews. This is your typical lipstick on a pig place. They do the little thing to make it look better but it's still run down underneath. On top of that when I search for a room you get one price but as soon as you check out they add an extra person surcharge of $35. I have never seen that. The continental breakfast was not even average you're better off going to the market across the street. For what they charge this place is way over priced.”

”Owner/operators are a friendly couple who are obviously invested in clients have a good stay. Ask about their wildlife photos taken right at the hotel property. Bonus coffee and continental breakfast in the morning. Can walk to restaurants in town.”

”I actually booked this hotel thinking it was a place we had stayed before, but it wasn't (just looked like it from the picture--there are a number of alpine chalet-themed places in town). But it was not a disappointment. Our room was clean and well-arranged, with one of the two beds in a kind of alcove, which gave each person a bit more space. ”Terrific stay, big room, all the amenities you need, nice fridge, coffee maker. Table for dining inside and out. Super close to the hot spring (pro tip- buy your tickets at the front desk) and tons of wildlife around the property. Couldn't ask for a better host than Tom. Close to restaurants/bars - all walkable under 10 mins. Will absolutely be visiting again and will carry my Gables key chain with pride!”
