âPerfect base for visiting the Poas Volcano and other sights in the area. From the hotel you can see the volcano so no guessing the weather and it's just a short ride to the national park. The hotel and rooms are modern and cozy, nice sofas with small fireplace to enjoy in the lobby area. Good restaurant.â

She also provide price info so we are assured. With affordablenprice, this place is 3 blocks away from market, central sqaure, and 5 blocks from bus station to San Jose. You can also take the bus to airport.â
âIt was my first night after long flight, so I just needed some sleep. which was a bit complicated as the hotel located just under the path of departing planes, means: it was quite noisy from certain time in the morning. Service was very friendly, though. Good breakfast and parking behid the gate (important value in CR!!) ! nb: it is quite had to figure out how to enter the hotel. GPS gives right location, so you need to find the gate and push the bell, but it is a bit busy street to just stop...
âPerfect spot for as we came into San Jose for our flight out the next day. The family is so kind, and it was nice to be 20 min out of the madness of a city after spending 2 weeks in amazing beaches and rain forests. Highly recommend!â

âWe spent two nights in a boutique type hotel Volcanes. It was located in the very center of Alajuela. Itâs a small family run hotel with a good friendly english speaking staff. Breakfast is served by your order and it certainly is fresh. Rooms are very tidy as all the public areas. You can find rooms for different price categories. We liked it very much. â
