”On arrival at Bell Cottage we were met by occupants who directed us around the corner to the owner's house. The owner was not in but able to communicate via the Ring doorbell. We were greeted warmly and told where to collect the keys to a different property with en-suite and a shared kitchen, situated to the the left of the owner's house. So a bit of confusion to start with, but the attic room we occupied was lovely, cosy, comfy and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay. ”

”The hosts treat you like family. I dat infront of the fire sipping homemade wine. An absolute gem of a place. Definitely stay there again. The history of the house is incredible and it is unusual and not the normal guest house. However that is why ypu choose there because it is different ”

”The room smelt rather bad and lots of loud pipework. There were also lots of screaming children in the background ”

”If you are looking for the best of what a traditional British guesthouse should be, look no further. The room and communal areas are spotless. The towels and linen are fresh and look New. Building is well 19. The refreshments in the room could be no better, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Then we come to breakfast. Perfection. And to top it all exceptionally good value. ospotless”
