”We are so pleased to have stayed 7 nights at HIRUGI. The staff helped us prior to arrival with car rental and restaurant reservations (we don't speak Japanese). The lady of the house is SUPER hospitable (speaks French too). So many positive aspects including tips on New Year activities taking place and a traditional dinner organized. We were the only couple there most nights, few other guests during our stay, so we mostly had the place to ourselves. We would definitely stay again and recommend...

”We enjoyed the quiet, private room. Meals were mostly Japanese style with some western food also. We had fun going to the beach and collecting seashells!”

”A small hotel right at the beach in a nice bay. It is located on northern part of Iriomote island. It is not far from a bus stop but it would be good to have your own transportation. The room was clean but basic and had no WiFi. That was only available in the common area downstairs. I had good meals in the hotel itself. ”
