”The property needs some maintenance…..paint peeling in several areas, tub stopper not working and just laying off to the side, fridge/freezer had a big block of ice taking up space for items we wanted to refrigerate. Beds were super comfy and the room was very clean. Staff was amazing. Overall, I’d recommend to family and friends. I was somewhat surprised though that bfast wasn’t included in the room price like in other hotels. ”

”This property rates at the TOP of the list. Its as elegant as the Greenbriar and Homestead in terms of the property and rooms. It is stunning. Martha is a wonderful host and she is so elegant in her special touches....antiques, crystal, place settings, even in the room crystal glasses with little doilies on top with crystals weighted down. Magnificent Crystal Chandeliers. Historic touches everywhere. You will want to come back! ”

Plenty of secluded spots around the property to enjoy the peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.”
