The owner was incredibly helpful, providing a long list of tips and recommendations, and even connected me with an amazing massage therapist whose studio is just a short walk from Villa Amistad. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the house manager responded quickly whenever I had questions. My favorite features were the gorgeous pool, the wonderful rooftop, and the super comfortable bed. I can’t wait to come back!”

”I stayed in this lovely home for 3 nights with 9 dear friends for my bachelorette party just before getting married in Playa del Carmen! We are a group of women in our 30s and loved relaxing at the house and exploring the nearby beaches and restaurants! We also loved cooking together at the house and truly appreciated the amazing hospitality of the host! The large screened in porch area outside the kitchen upstairs was a wonderful spot to spend time together!”

”Villa Amistad took our breath away the moment we opened the front door & could see the ocean through the beautiful glass doors into the beautiful pool area. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks transforms you. You are only separated from the ocean by a lovely walkway, called the Malecon that runs a good length of the island & the Villa has direct access to it through a door next to the pool which was a plus. Having our own pool and private beach made it possible to enjoy beach days from the comfort of our home on days where our son wasn’t feeling up to heading to North Beach. ”I was a little hesitant to book as it is under new management but I so happy we did!!! This is the place that used to have the sign "beer so cold it will make your teeth hurt" IYKYK. Excellent location and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! We had the upstairs room, ocean front with 2 balconies which was lovely. The staff is so nice and we felt like we almost had the whole place to our self. Will be back and highly recommend!”
