”This was a fabulous place to stay. We had a partial ocean view room, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The air conditioning was very good, and the hotel had bright, modern design with incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. Cafe overlooking the bay was also nice.”

”The location was excellent and the restaurant was really great. However the highlight of this hotel was the staff. While you don’t typically go to Bocas for “amenities” the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly- especially Janelli. She not only greeted us every time she saw us with a warm and genuine smile, she was crucial in helping us plan our days, made phone calls, walked us places and translated for us. She is truly a gem to this hotel.”

”We stayed two nights at Colibri in February. The place is nicely designed, so that all the cabins have patios directly towards the sea. We had the second cabin counting from the beach, and the passing motorboats didn't disturb us at all, which might be the case with the last one. The bathrooms are nice and clean, and you get hot water. You have sun on the front patio till the mid afternoon and you can even have a swim from the last two cabins where the water is a bit deeper. ”Pool was not only closed but there were people in it running jackhammers starting at 8:00 AM. When I asked to be let out of my reservation I was told that I should have seen the word pool crossed out in the hotel description (forget the photo of a full pool). My bathroom sink did not have hot water and the bathroom smelled in general. Wish I had stayed somewhere else.”

”This is situated in a great location actually. Loved the patio & outside area. You can sun bathe, take a dip & watch the boats go on by. I just wish it was a little more modern but for a nights stay upon arrival or leaving & don’t want to walk far with your luggage, it got the job done & you can make the best of it!!”
