Really appreciated being in the village neighborhood among the locals. The icing on the cake were our hosts, Jo and Tony; they were available any time, anywhere to assist us.”

”Everything is broken, rotted, peeling or is full of holes. There is no hot water. If you are in a room facing the street, it feels like the traffic is driving through your room!”

”We really enjoyed this rental - beautiful view of the cove, ocean, and distant mountains, quiet neighborhood away from the main road. It’s a 15 min walk to town so renting bikes was a great way to get around on Utila including to and from our scuba lessons and to Neptunes boat when we had a day off! The hosts and property managers were so helpful, from answering all of our questions to arranging pickup and drop off. They connected us to everything we needed including bicycle rentals, a tuk tuk...

”It was horrible! Half of the light fixtures did not have functional bulbs. When we asked the manger about it, he said he cannot provide them because the electricity usage would go up. So we spent our vacation in a very poorly lit place. There was a TV and a CD player but they were not hooked up and not functional. Our information said that we would have a local cell phone for our local calls but there was none. When we asked the manager, he said he will look into it and we never heard about it...
