”We stayed for four nights in the jungle lodge with ocean view. The lodge and view were excellent. The lodge is rustic but comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, clean bedrooms and bathroom. We got a kick out of the outdoor showers! The staff were helpful and attentive, however, the primary way of communicating is via WhatsApp and the responsiveness and clarity could use improvement. ”Avoid Room # 402 at all costs. This room has a major odor problem in the bathroom and should not be rented to anyone in this condition. The smell of sewage rises through a drain cover on the bathroom floor. We identified the problem from day one, but no serious attempt was made to correct it. After a few days, they covered the drain cover, but this did not fix the problem. The woman who is mostly at the front desk during the day had a very defensive attitude about this problem.
