”My husband and I recently stayed at Aqui Hoy for 4 nights and while it was a bit isolated, it was a relaxing and peaceful location. We had the place to ourselves, so that was lovely, but I do think that having neighbours in the adjoining cabin would have impacted on our privacy, had there been someone in the room beside us. Katy and Marcel were welcoming and friendly. It was an added bonus to have a restaurant on site. The food was wholesome and reasonably priced. As were the local beer...

”Eclypse del Mar is a uniquely, beautiful location. We stayed both in the overwater bungalows and the treehouse so we were able to enjoy the ocean and forest views. We were thrilled to be able to feed the fish through the opening in the living room floor of the bungalow. The staff is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Rashi, JJ and Francesca made us feel right at home. We had some of the best animal sightings at the reserve, including a mother sloth, travelling the treetops with its twins...

”This was a fabulous place to stay. We had a partial ocean view room, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The air conditioning was very good, and the hotel had bright, modern design with incredibly welcoming and friendly staff. Cafe overlooking the bay was also nice.”

”The location was excellent and the restaurant was really great. However the highlight of this hotel was the staff. While you don’t typically go to Bocas for “amenities” the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly- especially Janelli. She not only greeted us every time she saw us with a warm and genuine smile, she was crucial in helping us plan our days, made phone calls, walked us places and translated for us. She is truly a gem to this hotel.”
