”Had to leave went to a Holiday inn. The cigarette burns all over the bathroom wall and the bugs not to mention the door had been previously kicked in so the lock didn’t work.”

”The bathroom door was broken and would not close. There were cracks in the walls. It appears that homeless people were given rooms there. One obviously disturbed man was loading himself up with items from the free breakfast area, six eggs, cereals, four or five yogurts, as he carried on an animated conversation with himself.”

”Room as not clean. Cockroaches in my toilet and shower. I had to clean the room myself and buy new sheets because I didn’t want to waste my money. No trash cans in rooms either. Would not recommend. ”

”Got in late. They sent me to a room that was already occupied. AWKWARD. The front desk lady thought it was FUNNY. They gave me the correct key, then went all the way back up and the door wouldn't open. Went down to tell them and they asked me "Did you pull UP on the handle?" Well, NO. I didn't try a maneuver that has literally never been required EVER at any other hotel I've ever stayed at. The OTHER lady apologized and walked up with me to make sure I could get in. ”The place is relatively new but has been poorly kept up. The floors were dirty, we requested a broom just to sweep the floors and cleanup the loose dirt and hair. Under the beds and around the couch looked like it had never been cleaned since the place opened. My daughter’s feet were black after running around on the floor for an hour. The walls and floors could both use cleaning, floors weren’t even wiped around the counters in the kitchen. There was a measuring cup, a pot and 2 pans. No...

”Overall, the room was clean and the staff was helpful. Location was okay as well. The biggest concern which is now the 2nd time staying Quality Inn in Gainesville with the same experience is the smell of mold and humidity in the room. The AC unit pumps this smell all night and this is now the second time that we get stick from staying at a Quality Inn in Gainesville because of this awful smell and air quality.”
