Just 22 minutes from Yellowstone, this charming 4-bedroom, 3-floor log cabin features a hot tub, indoor fireplace, and pool table. Nestled on over half an acre of wooded land in the heart of Mack’s Inn, it offers a porch with a BBQ, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of space for families or groups. Perfect for adventurers and nature lovers looking for comfort, convenience, and a memorable Island Park. As your hosts, we are committed to ensuring you have a memorable experience.

This spacious cabin spans three floors with cozy living areas, a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen. It has four bedrooms, including a main-floor king, two upstairs bedrooms (one with a queen and one with a queen + sofa bed), and a downstairs king plus a trundle with two twins and a queen. There are three full bathrooms and one half bath with towels and toiletries. Comfortable, flexible, and perfect for families or groups.

Our cabin is professionally cleaned after each stay. Our cleaning service is all inclusive and will take care of garbage removal and all cleaning. Unlike other rentals we will NOT be asking you to take your garbage to the landfill, and we will NOT have a list of cleaning tasks for you to do before check-out. Our main goal is for you to have all the time to enjoy your vacation and we want your check-in and check-out to be easy and hassle free!

Snowmobiling:
Winter-time is the perfect time to rent snowmobiles! We provide them at a discounted rate on our website.

The discount code will be sent to you once the booking is confirmed. Please make your booking and you can pick up the snowmobiles at our central location near all of the trails.

ATV/UTV Tours:
We also provide ATV/UTV tours. Since you are staying at VRBO, you can book with us directly at a price of $145 per person. Just send a quick message and we can set it up.

The closest ski resort is Big Sky Resort in Montana, just about an hour’s drive from the cabin. Many guests also enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing right here in Island Park or at Harriman State Park, which offers beautiful, groomed trails in a peaceful setting. We’re also about 2 hours from Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee — giving you access to three of the best ski resorts in the country, all offering world-class terrain and stunning mountain views.

As superhosts we are highly rated hosts who are committed to providing our guests with best possible experience. This cabin is the result of over a year of hard work and we look forward to sharing it with you! Come enjoy your vacation at our home away from home!

Other things to note
This house can accommodate large trailers. However, be aware that during winter months this area can get a very large amount of snow (1 foot in 24 hours which is exacerbated by drifts due to strong winds) in a short period of time and even though we do our absolute best to plow the roads the crews can be overwhelmed during such times. If you plan to bring trailers then bring them at your own risk. We do not guarantee we can accommodate such a large trailer during winter storms.

Guests should be aware that this cabin is in the forest/woods which is home to many creatures big and small. Although there is a pest control company that comes frequently, some of the tiny ones may get into the cabin from time to time. NO REFUNDS will be granted because someone saw a spider, a fly, a wasp, a mouse, an ant, etc.

You will be asked to agree an outside contract that clarifies the details and ensures proper expectations on both sides.

  • Harriman State Park in Idaho is just outside Yellowstone's border. We rented the bunkhouse with eight (!) other families for a weekend of hiking, mountain biking, and Nerf battles. Plus, a whole lot of eating. There are also a couple yurts and smaller cabins for rent.

Super simple check-in, tons of amenities, amazing super-size cabin and deck area. Deck just kept going. While we are from Wisconsin, our friends from Utah were very impressed also. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and space for the 8 of us. Quite easily a couple more. Chris responds almost instantly to questions and provides tons of info on the area. Thank you, thank you!
