”Nice pass-thru accommodation for one night with amazing views. The room was very small for 2 adults 2 small kids but we managed to fit - also the road was surprisingly close and created some noise & shaking during the night. ”

”There was a mix up with the booking as we were down as dog owners!! Then we had no towels in the room which we had to chase down so we could shower before the meal we had booked. When we got to the restaurant there was more confusion about the booking. However, the restaurant staff were great and even after an issue with our meal order it was quickly resolved. The food was excellent.”

”Invercreran Lodge was a perfect overnight experience in the countryside of the highlands! Rural setting away from the crowds and busy roads. Easy drive to Glencoe or Oban. Staff is amazing and facilities are top rate. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, five star getaway with stunning views and superb hosts! ”

”We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. ”We enjoyed use of kitchen /dining space, which included tea, coffee, and proper dishes and utensils. We could store extra food in the refrigerator. The warming closet to hang up wet clothes was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. View of lake was lovely. Host was attentive. Great stepping off point for hiking.”

”Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated. The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind. The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice. Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious.”

”Spent one night at the hotel. It is located by a lake and had a nice view. The room was OK size, with a nice and clean bathroom. Spent the evening at the hotel bar, where they have an amazing collection of whisky. The bar area is cozy with a fireplace, books and boardgames. The breakfast buffet was tasty and staff friendly and helpful :) ”
