”The room was run down, bathroom ok but not matching the price. No proper breakfast was served (bring your own coffee etc.)”

”The staff was great. Food was also very good (both dinner and breakfast). The wifi connection was a bit slow. No parking spaces by the hotel, but few parking places nearby (around two minutes walk). ”

”Hotel is in beautiful location by the shore, the view from the dining room was impressive. Perhaps other rooms had view on the shore, ours was for the dining room. Location as in Broadford does not have much to offer, though... Room was ok, good value for the price but noisy, you could easily hear other guests walking upstairs, floors were squeky. Wifi only worked in the lobby, not in the rooms, which was a big minus.”

”We didn't really know what expect and it turned out be a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is compact yet there is plenty of room in the fire heated large and small sitting rooms. There's a wee conservatory as well with lovely views. The breakfast room was ample fir the guests. Restaurant was closed for winter but the Àn Praban bar served lovely food, emphasis on seafood/fish/ and local beef etc., with specials roughly every couple of days.
Drinks selection was great with a large selection of...

”High standards throughout at this classic hotel. Very comfortable and clean room with adjoining sitting area. 2 tv’s! The only negative for me was no real ale in the bar.”

”Great hotel, with a beautiful property. The building is a bit dated and a few more reasonable dining options would be welcomed. There is only a fine dinning restaurant on the property. But overall a good stay.”

”The hotel is located at a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre of Portree. The views from the hotel breakfast room and terrace are amazing! The lobby and bar area are nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Just a few improvements would make this hotel perfect: The breakfast service would be better if started at 7 am, since many customers leave early to continue their trip. Also, the dinner service ended quite early and the menu...
