”Eoin met us at the drive as the cottar is tucked away. He then proceeded to give us his family background and ideas for visiting. There was a stocked kitchen complete with wine and crackers and a cozy fire crackling when we arrived. The inside is a lot bigger than pictures do it justice and we enjoyed unplugging from life for a few days. The location of the cottar is very convenient to the co op, restaurants and anywhere in the island. Honestly, it was heaven!”

Owner was very easy to communicate with and provided all the details we needed in advance as well as having additional information available at the residence. The house was very comfortable and charming. It is in a great location for views over the city and a close walk to the grocery store, town, and dock. Street parking was no issue for us. ”Our group of 2 couples and 2 friends stayed 3 nights at this house. You will find everything you need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The interior walls are poorly soundproofed so that you can hear everything between the rooms. The location is a 10-15 minutes walk from the center of Portree. Would recommend this house for groups or families.”
