”Such a lovely safari lodge in a wonderful surrounding. The Karoo ist beautiful in spring. Great safari guides with a great knowledge. Beautiful swimming pool area. Staff is very helpful and friendly. We saw a lot of animals and very close. I can highly recommend this place. ”

”La Plume was gorgeous-the best place that we stayed during our journey of the Garden Route. The suites were so nicely appointed and super spacious. The breakfast was delicious and we were disappointed that we missed dinner (it was only a 3-course meal). ”When we arrived at our destination very tired and hungry we got told that this place was fully booked. They made a dou le booking. Then the owner Hennie made a plan for us to stay in a cottage outside of oudshoorn. We did not make any plans for food as we thaught we will load off our baggage and get something to eat. But then we had to drive outside of town with nothing. There was no Wifi and we had to drive with our car up a mountain. We were very upset about this as i had 2 small children...
